2020 and part of 2021 is a year to forget for most of the world, due to COVID-19 and all the troubles it brought with it. Business and life in general all suffered the consequences.

However, where there’s a crisis, comes opportunities. That’s when Contapp was launched. 

How It Happened

Our forward thinking team identified that a disaster was about to happen before COVID became an official global pandemic, so we had to think quickly. 

How can we adapt our business tool into a tool to be used in a pandemic? App development was already in progress before the pandemic hit the UK, but now we had to pivot into a business model that suited what’s to come. 

We managed to turn the crisis of the global pandemic into an opportunity to become a safer way of digitally managing & sharing business cards.

One Year Later

Fast-forward one year, Contapp is seen as the hygenic and convenient solution for business-minded individuals when it comes to business cards. 

Our fast-growing startup has gained a lot of interest due to it’s human to human (H2H) approach to marketing. As a business, we’re all about giving users a voice to mould Contapp into a business tool they want to use.

With our exciting roadmap, we’re pivoting towards becoming your personal business hub with integrations from leading softwares, rather than your average business card scanner. 

We don’t want to reinvent the wheel, but we want to change an area of communication that has been dated for many years now. Conventional printed business cards are inconvenient and can’t come up against a digital alternative, like Contapp. 

Manually managing and inputting data from a business card? It’s 2021, no one wants to be doing that in today’s fast-paced, digital world!

We want to be more connected to people in business. Convenience and user-friendliness being the core focus of development, whilst adding value to users and reducing paper waste.
